Five more people with measles symptoms died across Bangladesh in the past 24 hours, raising the death toll from measles and related symptoms since March 15 to 1104. Another 1 thousand 339 people developed measles or related symptoms during the day.
The figures came from the Directorate General of Health Services regular measles report on Tuesday, September 29. It said 1 thousand 255 people with measles symptoms were identified in 24 hours, while the total number of measles patients from March 15 to September 29 reached 1 lakh 90 thousand 519.
There were 84 confirmed measles cases in the past 24 hours, bringing confirmed cases from March 15 to September 29 to 21 thousand 392.
From March 15 to September 28, 1 lakh 68 thousand 655 people with measles symptoms were admitted to hospitals and 1 lakh 61 thousand 798 were discharged after recovery.

A total of 1 thousand 3 people with measles symptoms died from March 15 to September 29. No one died from confirmed measles in the past 24 hours, while confirmed measles deaths during the period totaled 101.
